This is a long stainless steel shaft with a maximum outer diameter of 350mm and a length of 4000mm. This stainless steel product has a structure where the shaft part and the flange part are welded together. It was manufactured and used by the customer, but there were frequent cracks at the welds. Therefore, we received a request to change the design and manufacture it as a single piece from a round bar. However, manufacturing from a round bar incurs higher costs for both materials and processing due to the waste involved.
